1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Eco Property Pro's website and services. By booking our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Eco Property Pro provides Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), retrofit assessments, floor plans, property photography, and related energy assessment services in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall and the wider West Midlands area.

2. Services

2.1 Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs)

Our domestic and commercial EPC services include:

• On-site energy assessment by accredited assessors
• Production and lodgement of EPC on official register
• Digital certificate delivery within 24 hours (standard service)
• Recommendations report for energy improvements

2.2 Other Services

We also provide retrofit assessments (PAS 2035), Display Energy Certificates (DECs), floor plans, and property photography. Specific terms for each service will be confirmed at booking.

3. Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process

• Bookings can be made online, by phone, or email
• A booking is confirmed once we send written confirmation
• You must provide accurate property information at booking

3.2 Pricing

• Prices quoted are valid at the time of quotation
• All prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise
• Additional charges may apply for properties significantly larger than described or requiring additional visits

3.3 Payment Terms

• Payment is due upon completion of the assessment
• We accept card payments, bank transfer, and other methods as specified
• Certificates will be released upon receipt of payment

4. Access Requirements

If access cannot be provided:

• The assessment may be incomplete, affecting the EPC rating
• A revisit may be required at additional cost
• Certain assumptions may be made per government guidelines, which could result in a lower rating

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

5.1 Customer Cancellation

• More than 24 hours notice: Full refund or free reschedule
• Less than 24 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee may apply
• No show / no access: Full charge applies

5.2 Our Cancellation

If we need to cancel or reschedule, we will:

• Provide as much notice as possible
• Offer alternative appointment times
• Provide a full refund if no suitable alternative is available

6. EPC Certificate Validity

• EPCs are valid for 10 years from the date of issue
• The certificate is lodged on the official government EPC Register
• We cannot guarantee a specific energy rating - this depends on the property's characteristics
• The rating is based on standardised assessment methodology set by government

7. Liability

7.1 Our Liability

We are responsible for:

• Conducting assessments professionally and in accordance with accreditation standards
• Accurate data entry based on information gathered during the assessment
• Lodging certificates correctly on official registers

If you're unhappy with our service:

3. We aim to resolve issues within 10 working days
4. If unresolved, you may escalate to our accreditation body

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, and design, is owned by Eco Property Pro and protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.

10. Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. By using our services, you consent to the collection and processing of data necessary to provide our services.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
